We have six cemeteries in our Parish, the operation of which is governed by our Cemetery Committee. As a result of over three years of study, deliberations, and work by this committee, we have new (effective September 2007) policies and procedures, as well as a new funding structure to meet the costs of operation and address major capital and equipment needs for the cemeteries.

The Terms and Conditions (attachment below) or burial in the cemeteries of the Parish of Saint Leonard outlines the process of requesting burial, the upkeep fee, plot sizes, plot assignments, details on gravemarkers, plot upkeep, and other relevant information.  Also, this document include the Request for Burial form and the Pre-Arrangement Request form.


Funeral providers are asked to refer to the Guidelines for Funeral Directors (attachment below) for details regarding burial in our parish cemeteries.


Prior to the installation of a gravemarker in any of our parish cemeteries, Monument companies are required to complete the Monument Installation Request Form (attachment below).
